About Me

Hello and thank you us for stopping by!

The ‘About Me’ is one of the hardest parts of a blog or any site. I never know if I’m saying to much or not. Where to start, or end. When I’m over sharing to much or need to say more. But the part I like about the ‘About Me’ is that it’s about me a topic that, over many years, I’ve learned and explored. Becoming a person whom I like. A young writer who’s taking her first steps of sharing her writings with the world. The truth is, it scares me to death. There’s a quote “If your dreams don’t scare you, they aren’t big enough.” So, I guess my dreams are big enough.

I love the feeling of using my imagination, building story lines, plot twists, and characters. Making a

world to tell a story, have the right to change or add whatever I want. Putting the right words together, making something that I or another person enjoys makes all the hair pull, writers block, late nights, oh so worth it. I’ve written/write short stories, poems, novella, novels, lyrics, Fanfics and much more but have not published anything. With me, I write many stories at one time. Bouncing from one world to another helps me think and keeps my mind working coming up with new ideas.

Music is a major part of my life. Once, I thought that it was what I was going to do with my life, but never fully believed in it like I do with writing. I raised on Country music like Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Alan Jackson, and old Rock’N’Roll. But during my later teenage years my music styles changed. This heart of mine has always had a soft spot for boy-bands ‘N Sync, The Backstreet Boys, One Direction, Midnight Red. Pop is a huge genre I play, Demi Lovato, Avril Lavigne, Big Time Rush, FUN, and more. Indie is one of my favorite genre, especially when writing, I love Phoenix, and I’ll stop there or there will be a long list. Singer-song writer, like Ed Sheeran. As well The Beatles, The Beach Boys and so much more. When I’m writing you can find a mix of Jazz to Rap to Coffee House to Alternative coming out of my headphones. Its easy to tell I play a lot of different kinds of music.

Family means everything to me. I’m the oldest out of the children in my family. Being a big sister is the most importation job I could ever have; ever! For me there isn’t a thing that could make me not be a good big sister. Being there for my siblings, teaching them or helping them is a feeling all of its own. My siblings are my closest friends, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. My mother is my inspiration. I’m not going to go on saying why, that would take pages and pages, but was something I need to say.

On my blog I show support for two amazing organization Girls Write and Kind Campaign. I believe in both of the message they stand for. Girls Write is a program that teaches girls the power of their words. How words can change their life. As for Kind Campaign is an organization to help stop girls bulling each others. I was bullied in school, so this one is close to my heart. I believe in both of them and hope one day I can help, but for now I’m spreading the word.

Throughout my life I’ve done a lot of traveling and moving. I’ve seen thirty-five of the fifty states. But my heart belongs to the west coast. I’m a fan of American Football, don’t get me started on 2014 Superbowl. Fan of WWE, Raw and SmackDown. I have so many books and magazines. Love my skinny jeans and tank top. Notebooks filled with scrabbles. Love me some green-tea and eats too many cookies. I enjoy doing my own nails and can never get enough sunshine.

That’s all for now, just a bit about me. Not much about how I became me or why I am me. But the things I love. Things I see and feel are important. My blog is a part of who I am. Learning to share my works with the world. One post at a time, I won’t give up, as long as it makes me happy, I’ll tell the stories that come to me.

Whoever you are thank you for reading this and hope you enjoy my blog,

KayCee K
